-The Obie Awards granted Shannon two awards, one as a Special Citation to the Ensemble of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins’ THE COMEUPPANCE, and one for Sustained Achievement in Performance for THE COMEUPPANCE (Signature Theatre), Lloyd Suh’s THE FAR COUNTRY (Atlantic Theater Company), and Julia Izumi’s REGRETFULLY, SO THE BIRDS ARE (Playwrights Horizons | WP Theater).
